Prayers For Our Children Prayers for our children are the life blood of their protection. We can only be with our little ones some of the time. As they grow and become more independent, we will be with them less and less. Our prayers ensure that we communicate to God how important he is in our eyes and allows us to ask for our children's protection. No prayer ever goes unanswered. Take the time to prayer for your child each day that he or she may come closer to God and enjoy the protection of the greatest of the protectors.
Prayer I Dear Father, I pray that you will shower your infinite love and protection on my most cherished children. I pray that you will comfort child-victims of the misguided and wicked. I pray that you will provide guidance and wisdom to me as parent and guardian of the most precious gift of life in my little one. Father,in your most infinite mercy, I ask that you touch the hearts of those that would crush the life from all little ones through abuse. I ask that you would reveal in a particular way, the error of their ways to them and reform their darkened hearts. Father, reveal your infinite goodness and love to all children that that they may be an inspiration to those of us grown into adulthood. Most Holy Father, shower your infinite love on all of us and guide us each day in our thoughts and actions to be perfect guides for our children We pray these prayers in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen by John A. Ferrante Prayer II I lift my child up to You and
ask that You would put a hedge of protection around her (him). Protect her (his) spirit,
body, mind, In Jesus' name, I pray..Amen by Stormie Ormartian
Prayer I We thank you, O God, for the Children and for what they mean and bring to our lives. For the love we have known, for all the mitzvot they have begun to do. For pride in our children's Jewish heritage. For faith in their Jewish destiny, we thank you God. For all the simchas we have enjoyed. For the gift of life itself, we thank you. At times our gratitude is
beyond our ability to put into words. Teach us to guide our children especially by our example. And to you our children, we say: God who blessed our ancestors, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel and Leah, bless you with good health, a loving spirit, and a searching heart. May you grow to be strong in body and mind, to love what is good and true, may you never ever forget how much we love you. May your eyes continue to sparkle with the light of Torah. May the Hebrew names you bear shine on your beautiful faces and bring blessing to your family, to the Jewish People and to all the world. Amen. by Temple Israel-Memphis
Prayer I (Real Player Audio)
In the name of Allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful, all praises be to Allah (God) the Lord of mankind, Jinn and all that exists. The most beneficent, the most merciful. The only owner, (and the only ruling judge) of the day of recompense,( i.e. day of resurrection). You alone we worship, you alone we ask for help (for each and every thing). Guide us to the straight way. The way of those on whom you have bestowed your grace. Not the way of those who earned your anger nor of those who went astray.

When do we pray! There are certain times when our children need our prayers. Consider the following:

If you can worship without threat of torture or death, you are more blessed than 3 billion persons alive that cannot. If you have read this you are more blessed than 2 billion persons who cannot read at all. Remember! Count your blessings and give credit to God!
