 Resources for your learning

Learning more about this problem is the greatest weapon that you can use to protect your children.  As with personal safety, awareness is the greatest of these weapons.  Learning about your particular environment, daily circumstances and the risks inherent in those will help you as a parent, teacher, administrator or  law enforcement officer in protecting your children.

There is a multitude of links on each of my pages. This page is a basic starting point. Each topic page has links associated with it's topic. Help yourself!

Parents

Parents should take the time to evaluate the risks that they and their children take each day.  From these risk, you should obtain the necessary resources that will help you make intelligent decisions about your safety. Remember that your safety is key to your child's safety.

Teachers

Teachers should take the time to evaluate the risks associated with their classroom, school, and the children in them.  Many good posters, books for kids, websites and other tools are available to assist you in teaching your pupils to be safe.

School Administrators

Administrators have come under fire from parents lately in response to tightened security measures, lack of information sharing with parents, and other administrative issues.  Administrators can learn a lot from the various resources about how to work with parents groups, your teachers, the police and the students with regard to child safety, sexual abuse, violence at school
